@@barbaraendaya1973 the baton tape I used didn’t have any adhesive to stick to the baton so the electrical tape holds the tape on the baton

Athletic's tape and electrical tape work just fine, but my personal favorite is called 'Freestyle Batongrip" from the Star Line Baton Co. website

Ok my grip tape isnt sticky... do i need to stretch it or something?

Whatever grip you want to use is fine and then I would use electrical tape to secure it on each end
