yeah, when I taped to tight my nose swell even more and became red, so I tape tight but not too much so blood flow is not constructed and feels normal, it depends on a nose though, taping too tight is no good i believe as it only increase swelling. simply tape as tight as you can but while maintaining blood flow

Taping the nose after a rhinoplasty is done to help control edema (swelling) of the nose. Early on after a rhinoplasty, a nose may swell, particularly around the tip of the nose. Taping holds light pressure on the skin to prevent the skin and soft tissue of the nose from expanding. Hello doctor please reply to me, I just had a rhinoplasty in Istanbul and my doctor has removed the bandage & stents for me and he put another plaster on just like this one you did. He said I don’t need to put anymore plasters on after this comes off. What is your advice for me? Do I need to do as he told me because this is my first plaster on my nose and it’ll probably comes off after 4-5 days. Please let me know anything which would be beneficial for my nose 👃 thanks
