How to Teach Glued Sounds

Do you call them “glued sounds” or “welded sounds”? (I’m talking about “ang,” “ing,” “ong,” “ung,” “ink,” “onk,” “unk” - and you might also throw “am” and “an” in there!)
These sounds can be tricky for some students. So when and how do you teach them? What are some fun activities for glued sounds? I’ll talk about all of that in this video!

How would you write words like swing/sting/sling and sink/wink/dunk and all the glued sound sing/ang/etc? I saw you kept all 3 letters together when you wrote it on your whiteboard but that wasn’t using elkonin boxes. Know one sound=one box…..but I’m still a little lost on these which is why I’m coming back to all of your videos and blogs around glued/welded sounds. Thank you!!! Blessings!
