I use the frayer model to preteach vocabulary words but I find it’s time consuming to have them glue the template onto their notebooks when we review them together prior to reading. Any advice? Is it okay to skip the notebook and just discuss them?

I also am looking for spelling words for grade 2 and how to teach those words. hi mam I am a big follower of your videos and of course get lots of tips. I am wondering how to pick words to teach vocabulary to a 2nd grader? Do I have to make the student read a passage and pick a word from that particular passage or should I follow any grade specific premade list of vocabulary words? Please help me in this regard.
