Serious tip for the socially awkward. If you notice your same sex flirting with you all the time you are truly attractive. Being a man one knows how men flirt and will naturally KNOW that a man is flirting with you, but the opposite sex flirts in a different fashion and you dont really get it because you dont understand the nuances of the opposite sex. Let's say hypothetically what if: 1) You've been told you were smart your entire life and were always placed in advanced classes up until and after graduation 2) Are extremely polite just to avoid confrontation or even conversation 3) Are considered the awkward one because you refuse to talk to other people and do everything alone 4) Avoid looking at other people at all (so even if they did double take, you wouldn't have seen it) 5) refer to 4 6) Go out of your way to be as far from other people as possible in all settings 7) refer to 3, 4, and 6 8) don't use social media for the above obvious reasons 9) refer to 7 I would simply assume at that point, what does it even matter then.

It's different for men than women. Average guys are not treated in those attractive ways very often. She was a student who worked part time at the coffee place. She was so sweet and cute. I've never got much/any attention from girls/women. Now I've built some muscles, grown some beard, wearing high quality cloths and I get eye contact all the time from teenage girls to women up to around their 50s. A glance, than another than another while passing by me. People became kinder to me and young attractive girls blush and act strange around me. It's really strange. What is even stranger I've never had a girlfriend and I'm soon hitting the middle of my 30's although I look around 24 I've been told. Seems like I'm doing life on my own terms, be that good or bad.

I suppose it relates to what you mean by attractive. If you mean good to look at then I'm definitely not and especially being told I'm smart though I don't think I'm unintelligent or ugly. However people say I'm good when I play my guitar, tell me I'm charismatic and invite me to lots of social events. They also laugh at my stories - many are self effacing and ironically funny. I've had eye contact from dangerous looking females but I think that's just curiosity as I may look a little exotic as I live in a foreign country and they may have spotted some cultural difference. Of course all this may be wishful thinking but I'm trying to be honest here.

Only time I’ve kinda gotten the feeling/possible idea is when a person asks you if your going out with someone to either a dance or school social event. Which either is them trying to see if they can go with you by seeing if your open to ask meaning you attract them in some way or they expect someone to go with you because they find that you are an attractive person and would again expect you to have gotten someone to go with you.
