I just read your comment & I am in the same boat as you. I don’t have 1000 subs so I can’t even ask KZbin why they keep putting my videos in review. I am not using any cuss words or talking about any controversial topics. My channel is about my talking cats. At Christmas I redid songs & made them into feline Christmas songs & trust me my singing is not anywhere near close to the original tune for it to be copyrighted but many got put into review & the ones that didn’t got very little views & it was because KZbin choose not to push them at all. I know my videos are not the best but when they are put in peoples feed they get watched, they are goofy & most are shorts because my longer one KZbin seems to really dislike. Sorry for the book I was just wondering if it was me but I guess not. Did yours get any better? I know I’ve definitely been shadow banned. They apparently last only 24-48 hours, however I am still confused. Community posts are my main sources of interaction and content, as I post three memes a day, and only upload actual videos every Saturday and Sunday. When I got shadow banned, I had a _massive_ drop in likes on my community posts. Now it has been 12 days since I was shadow banned, and only one single community post has garnered over 100 likes. The videos I uploaded last weekend both performed well and got over 100 views, but my community posts are _still_ performing terribly. I can’t tell if they’re just abusing their own system and shadow banning me whenever the 24-48 hour period is over, or that community posts get hit the hardest when shadow banned and take longer to start performing well again. This is KZbin’s main way of trying to demotivate people from providing content on their channel.

When they turned off ad revenue (yellow dollar sign instead of green) I put vids to private so they couldn't make ad revenue either. That got their attention. @@NicolasTatowski Yes I just figured that for me, youtube wants short clips, until I have enough of a subscriber base, I feel like my airtime is limited, which is a shame because I lose some of myself and the comedy factor when shortening to 12 seconds and below. The shorter clips do far better though. I'm also noticing a strange change right now where some shorts (not all) pop off at exactly 6 hours and 4 minutes after posting. So I've been clever with this knowledge and posted clips 6-7 hours before I know I'm going to be live! Seems to help a lot. Let me know what issues your having ill see if I can help

it can go both ways, sometimes your video gets "flagged" from my experience it just means it won't get many views. If your whole channel is "flagged" then people most likely won't see your comments, I can read yours, however.

I think I am definetely shadow banned. I upload music mixes, and all of them obviously has copyright claims, which was normal. But 2 certain mix has 3 tracks completely blocked/muted in certain countries all and since those uploaded I barely got any new subscribers, my views dropped drastically. I'm thinking to remove those 2 mixes and upload them again without those tracks but not sure if that helps. I'd like to write them, but I don't have that button on the top what you have.

My comments have been shadow banned, too, on one or two KZbin channels. Also, some replys to my comments I can't view either. I see a few but not all of them. It's really annoying.

O yeah, they hide, you even delete comments all the time. Gotta try to type in code sometimes if its something you know will get hidden ha.

It happens to me all the time. I think my channel is shadowbanned because of my "wrong-think" comments. The YT bots probably assume my videos are "wrong-think" too, while I have only some videos of animals and some tributes to movies and shows on my channel + a lot of saved playlists, mostly of music.

They shadow banned me hard because I posted one video they didn’t like and ever since then my views tanked. I really wish they would fix it because I make decent content and I’m trying to make it so much more but it’s hard when they shadow banned me as hard as they did it felt like I was targeted

I opened up two accounts because I would post a comment and then I would have my daughter go look for it and it would be gone so then I started posting comments on my other account and they would show up and then my other one would go away.. Now most my comments that show on my phone as being posted underneath someone's reply when I go on my other account and look at it it is not there?!!

No like no comment .. while i know for a fact there are MUCH worst channel that get all the attention its not like the ALGO trying to help..is it shadowban ? Wait is this just to fix like 1 video or the entire account? Cuz like it's pissing me off that i can't talk in certain live streams randomly will act like I've got a time out or ban ONLY it will not tell me the only way i know is cuz I'll click off the comments on the live and hit the like button and scroll my comments vanish into the ether no matter what i say without any bot telling me i was timed out or slow modes on etc and these aren't big streams were talking like been 30-men's 200ppl to max 3k or so on a video so the chat isn't like a Tim cast stream where it's moving to fast to catch. But it happens even on his videos but I'll be able to chat the next stream no issue but some chs act like I've been banned by the Creator which I'll ask about it and they'll tell me via email no n they don't have mods so it's YT WTF and it's random as hell zero reason given man IDK pisses me off cost me a career I'm thinking of looking for damages at the end of all this maybe a class action for violation of the 1st amendment and en mass! But i say things like that's controversial on other chs and they'll leave that up but they'll not let me chat on the places i hang out in just for fun and doing zero to do with even getting near tos like WTF man

I'm going to give it a try. This doesn't just happen to super small channels, I have over 40000 subscribers that i've gained over the last 6 years on youtube, with videos consistently getting over 5000 views. In the last 2 years my views have dropped dramatically, even though I post more now. I can barely get over 500 views on my videos. It's so messed up. My subscribers don't even get notified when a new vid is up. I'm going to try contacting youtube. thanks
