I kleened them both ,mine is a elantra 2017 now at 276k km and it made some what no difference,and put 2 new one in and now starts like a New. Before it didn't start after cranking engine a 4 sec and rpm not registering anf check engine and anti skid icon in dash lit up, now with brand new valves ,engine starts on the 1/2 turn

I have the same error code on my Kia ceed G4FA engine. I guess it will be the case. I am about to change oil with flush (actually it is time for it now). Maybe it will help without removing the valve. Lets see. What is strange that problem is not with gasoline. It appears only when LPG is on.

Thankyou for yor excellent videos, they teach me so much. I own a 2015 hyundai Elantra. 2 months ago I did an engine oil change on it and ran it for about 1 minute. The next day I went to start the Elantra and it spun like the starter Bendix wasn't engaged with the flywheel but when I looked under the hood and cranked, you could see the serpentine belt and crankshaft all turning. I now seemed like the timing chain failed. Then after much cranking the engine started to build compression and it started as soon as you could hear the proper compression gallop instead of the free spin . It has ran fine no for two months..all seems fine. What happen? This is an interference engine but no damage occurred... Could an engine oil air lock bubble have caused the VVT locking pin to not engage and it was trying to start in advanced or retard? Sorry for the extremely long question but I cannot find a mechanic here in Canada to give me an answer

Hi, I have a 2014 Sonata Limited that came in with P0076 and P0079. The codes were stored but no MIL. Symptom is while driving I would just lose throttle response and after feathering it power would return but sputter at times. Pulled the sensors, they do operate and weren't very dirty but cleaned them anyway. I reinstalled and had the same issue. Decided to replace sensors and still have the same drivability issue. I have not driven it long enough to possibly set code again. Any thoughts? Thank you

Hyundai Elantra 2007. 2.0lt. Hello sir. I have a question. Do you know how the the OCV behaves on start up? I'm currently troubleshooting a persistent P0016 and have treble checked base timing which is perfect. I've replaced the Cam phaser on the end of exhaust cam. New Cam sensor also. Can sensor is good also but not replaced; pcm sees if it is left unplugged during startup and engine revs are affected accordingly. So, i removed the new ocv, plugged the hole in the valve tray with a rag and attempted a startup with ocv in the loom but out of the engine. I noted that it pulses during startup. Surely it should just retard during startup, and begin to advance around 1500rpm? Also.... can you please tell me ( if you know ) the amount of chain links between the mark on the vvt phaser and the inlet cam. This seems like a conundrum for all! Autodata says full link on timing mark on phaser, 5 full links and the next full link lines up with Mark on inlet cam. Hyundai Service manual shows 4 full links between. KZbin diy mechanics have shown Seven! Links between. Out of some desperation i moved the inlet cam one tooth toward the Exhaust cam to have only Four links between. I had no P0016 on start and drive but the vehicle would not pull at all below 1500rpm... it just splutters! So you have any pictures of your cam phaser set up ?????? I apologize for long message! My vvt show full function on the bench and wire harness is sending a steady 11v. But when I hook the solenoid to the harness and turn the key the solenoid doesn't click or open. Again it functions fine on the bench test and my harness has power

i have a better solution and you should test it on vvt or vanos solenoids , put them into the ultrasonic cleaner they become new like day one. i test on my vanos solenoids and other BMW vanos solenoids, they work perfectly it been a year
