I've been doing this for years and it works. The amount of bounce is also proportional to how much charge is left.

Bullshit. How about holding the charged to battery and the non-charged battery the same height and dropping them. Not one from 2 in and the other one a foot

Also watch how the close up shot of the second battery on the multimeter is way lower reading than the wide angle shot just before it.

@@FirstLastOne they show you the discharged battery in the save frame as the the multimeter but with the charged ones they cut the image only to the multimiter. it's scripted af

I can verify this DOES work. But there isn't much difference unless it's a brand new battery vs a completely discharged battery. And a AA battery typically won't ever be fully discharged, they become useless at around 1.4 volts.

I agree with jeremy..... Keep the heights the same! You tested the batteries with a multimeter when the batteries were under no-load conditions. Not a useful test for any battery.
