HOW TO TEST BRAKE BOOSTER VACUUM PUMP
If your brake booster vacuum pump is not working or you experience hard brake pedal, the reason could be a burnt or not activated brake vacuum pump. In this video we will demonstrate how to test brake vacuum pump so you will know if you need to replace your brake vacuum pump or the cause for the pump not to work could be relay or fuse. Also vacuum leak could give the same symptoms as a bad vacuum pump.

absolutely not. a vacuum pump is used to create vacuum before the engine had a chance to build it up. Typically when you start up. normally you hear it working when you sit in, put the key in ignition, before you even start the engine. its to ensure you have smooth, easily working brakes even if you sit in, start and drive away immediately. Especially important on automatics where lack of vaccuum pressure may mean you cant hold the car from creeping forward of backward if you put in drive right after starting.

I have a 2012 chevrolet cruze and it beeps all the time and it is getting louder, I changed the solenoid valve but it still beeps, before it did not sound but now it is heard all the time, I also changed the engine but it still beeps, I would like to know if there is any solution. Thank you

Can the vacuum make the pedal lock to the floor and make hard to released the brake pedal because I'm having this issue with my 2002 audi a4 quattro 1.8t. The vacuum pump its making a very strong noise but when I but more pressure to the pedal stop making the noise. Help please

@@AwakeDude911 hello i fixed the problem garage Saïd to me you need new master cilinder hahah 300 euro no thank you i replaced a rubber bushing that goes from brake to master cilinder and problem solved for 10 euro and 2 hours
