that unit looks like its ready for trash can order you a reed switch sender .for your tank measure depth minus 1/2 inch in length easy to install

Sadly their headquarters are located in HuangJiang, Dongguan and I'm not sure they are making products over here. I will say I've been using their sending units on other vehicles and so far haven't had any issues.

1D10CRACY ~~ The Temperature gauge needs a "resistance value" or a Voltage? to be applied to the temperature gauge to see the needle moving from C to F? When I disconnect the temperature sending unit/temperature sensor can't I just use a variable resistor potentiometer and watch the temp gauge need moving from C to F? -- the temp sending unit/temp sensor is a thermistor which is a variable resistance But i dont' know what my temperature gauge is wanting a resistance and a voltage or just only a resistance in order to move that temp gauge needle from C to F?

So I tested the sending unit with a meter using the ohms, I'm getting resistance. I'm getting numbers at the back of the instrument cluster gauge. But the gauge is not working. Bad gauge?

My 1982 Honda Urban Express moped has the same type of sending unit for the oil level. But it's just an on or off switch. One magnet at a certain float level. Straight pole float. Funny how that's 35 years old tech now being used again.

I have the same style setup as you and the same sending unit but for me its reversed when is hook it up. Up is empty down is full. Why ?

You gauge isn't compatible with the sending unit.

So will this move up and down as the boat moves in the water or does it hold true to how much gas is in the tank?

My boat cuts the water fairly well, so I do not get a lot of needle bounce, I would imagine this style is no worse than a standard arm float.
