Thanks, great video! Had a hot water issue. This allowed me to trouble shoot. Sensor is ok so now I know to change the Magnetic flow sensor. You solved my problem!

Hi Richard, So if the sensor does light when we test but does not light when installed what could be the issue? I have an issue when the sensor is installed but it does not light when they run the DHW tap. They have good water pressure so I suspect it is a mechanical issue with the bobbin. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

If it lights up and turns off, is it broken or is this normal? I mean, when you put a magnet on it, it lights up and turns off and does not stay lit, and when you put it in its place and the water flows, the magnet rotates and lights up and turns off at the same time at a high speed. Is this a problem?

So after testing, it would be needing to change then?

Hi Abdul, if you carry out the test as described in the video and the light does not illuminate, then yes you would change the hall effect sensor. Thanks for your question.
