This tester has both vehicle and a trailer port simply reverse the the tester and connect it to what you are towing IE: caravan light board,push in socket press side button lights will show if ok it has 9v internal battery for this test

How can I test the brakes when I'm alone. If I walk to the back to check it, nobody is pressing the brakepedal. Most I modify the plug with a flip flop and take the power from the lights. Nothing to find on the web. Battery out, for Philips screws and solder a CMOS 4013 with a 7805 or a TTL 4017 with a 7805 voltage regulator in it or take the power from the 9 volt battery inside. It will solve the problem if you need 2 people but want to use the item alone.

Hello, If you are alone you can put an item between the brake pedal and the driver seat to push the brake pedal and test the the brake light.
