As a beautician, I must say, you did a damn good job!! You, clearly, stated in the title your intentions of the video. Any negative comments are from individuals who obviously can't read. Everyone knows that no one would walk around with a "finished product" like that! Again, you did great. Continue to do hair and don't let the any negativity discourage you.

As a white woman, I just want to say I am in awe of your talent and how much time it takes to get that perfect look. You can tell you really spend time making it look perfect. I had no idea this is what a black woman had to go through if they want this look. Thanks for the education. How many years did it take you to learn this talent?

thank you. I am self taught and I learned fairly quickly. Things like this come to me like second nature :)

I know i am replying to an old comment but i just wanted to say i didn't mean to imply that every black woman that has this style uses the same technique. That would be like saying every woman with size c breasts wears the same bra. :-) I was just commenting on her technique and the fact is how little i knew at the time about what black women have to go through to get the look that they want. My husband is black and shaves his head and most of his relatives are elderly women who don't wear weaves and just have natural curls so I have to take to the web to learn anything. I have very kinky hair even though I am white and have always wished it was straight or just wavy but God blessed me with this hair and I am finally figuring it out. Some black hair care products work for me and some don't. I can put coconut oil on my hair and it soaks it right up. Same with moroccan. Anyway, carry on MissBossyLive! Do you girl!

I am appalled as to why so many people disliked this video or any of her videos period. This woman is extremely talented, and deserves her props. It makes me sick that people act that way when they are JEALOUS of another persons talent. Instead of hating try getting on her level! Missbossylive I thank you and continue doing what you do best!

Just a little constructive criticism, I've been a stylist for over 20 years, 1 major thing that you have to remember is neatness with the braids, parts and patterns of the braids. Those things alone can cause your clients hair to break, not only that it is very important that you oil your clients hair as this is vital in any style that will be kept in a clients head over a period of time.

I have been searching for a video like this that was easy enough for my mom to follow. This is my sophomore year of hS and I wanted to have a versatile hairstyle that was easy and quick to do. But I am also a cheerleader so my hair has to be in a high ponytail at the top of my head for games and practice camps an competition!! God bless and keep doing what you do p.s I love the color choice for that girls skin tone :)

I always sew around the braid. When sewing across vertical braids I take the needle all the way under the braid, sometimes in the crease of the braid. You can also use a net for vertical braids

Well I have seen the video although I do hate some parts blurred out, I do appreciate the fact that you put this up. I do hair pretty much as a hobby and my sisters have wanted to be able to put their hair in a ponytail but I didn't want to try the No Braid sew in with them because they live far away and can't come home every few months to get their hair taken down with help. So now that I seen this I am gonna try it on myself then them. Thanks A lot!!!

I would be one of those full blooded black women with long hair also. Weaves are a protective style which allow people to keep their hands out of their heads and allow their hair to rest and grow. That's how I grew my natural hair past my bra strap, and I was able to grow out my edges in the process. Everyone has to start somewhere, and what works for you may not work for them (and vice versa).

I do have a question though, I always section enough hair out to do a middle part and side part, so how would I go about braiding the outermost braid?
