Best instructional video for this yet. Use smooth blade to weave through hair closest to scalp and then clamp down the tooth blade and close and slide. Perfect!!!!!!!!

Use normal scissors but instead of cutting across, cut straight up. I'm a hairdresser and I love doing this :)

@@saunatonttu9658 yes it worked, but I also had to gather a top layer of hair and push it to the sides while my hair was wet. It doesn't work fully with just that. scissor thingy

I did this a while ago and I wouldn’t recommend you guys to do this to real hair, it’s an instant solution but it grows out really weirdly. If you want thinner bangs it’s better to make the “triangle” of your bangs more narrow by letting the sides grow out. It takes longer but gives you much better results.

@@h34rtakio20 once it gets to a certain length it will “poke out”, and looks a little like grass, also you can’t push away or clip up your bangs or it’ll look really bad, since there’s a bunch of short hairs there.

I would like to grow my bangs out to be a little thinner this way. Are there any tutorials you found on how to slowly make the triangle narrow? I don’t have straight bangs but more curtain-like so i find the sides a bit scary to cut

@@nienke0222 I didn’t use any tutorials, but I split my bangs in 3 sections and only kept the middle one short. For the two sections on the side I cut the ends diagonally (the longer side is on the outside, so like this on the left piece ╱ and like this on the right piece ╲) and they look very nice and natural as they grow out and can eventually frame your face
