I was nervous at first but I got more comfortable as I kept going. Make sure that anyone who tries this, go little by little and dont go ham on the first go! you really cant go wrong with a wispy/rockstar fringe!

Omg!!!!! I just tried it and i absolutely love It!!! I was scared shitless that I would ruin my bangs but dude just go for it people. It works and looks great!!!!! Start low with the scheers on the twist and you'll be fine!!!! Then go in after and do some point cutting and boom!!!!!

U can use the trimming scissors that have a little comb on one of the blades, thinning shears, they dont take off any length just thickness

This was amazingg...i recently got my fringe cut in but my hair stylist did it way too thick which was really bugging me! So i googled for hours and found nothing helpful...until this video! it works so well an i was nervous at first that i woukd ruin my hair but it looks great im so happy i can finally relax, guys dont even think abt it just do it it works so well and its easy and fast to do! My dad went silver when I was little, and I got the gene from him (funny because that’s actually his name too 🤣). I took a picture with my mom a few weeks ago and we couldn’t tell who had more gray hair her or me. I’m 35, and she’s 58. I’m guessing in about 10 years I’ll be totally silver.

5 years old and this video is still good. I find ot easier to do this with thinning shears though. I went to a new lady because my usual hairdresser wasn't available and she's cut more hair in the middle of my fringe when it was already perfect😂😂.

Question for you! It looks like the bangs went through kind of a big change between 1:26 and the end of the video. They look thinner and pointer and sleeker. Did you cut more or style them or what? Thanks!

Yes, I did cut a little more than shown, but to get that piece look, take a tiny bit of hair oil on your fingers and and go through ends of the bangs. This helps them to be shinier and more separated looking.

you can also use a razor and brush it upwards. works the same way but is a lot less scary. it worked for me when i had a really thick fringe now i have wispy bags and i love them !!
