"The biggest shift in consciousness I have had is when instead of focusing on better thoughts I focused on thinking less."
@magiktrafik64707 ай бұрын
How do you focus on thinking less isn’t this thinking about not thinking?
@meetandinspire7 ай бұрын
@@magiktrafik6470 This is how I interpret what he meant: people in self-development circles often fixate on cultivating positive thoughts due to the influence of the manifestation "movement," which asserts that our thoughts shape our reality. However, the more you attempt to alter your thoughts, the more you inadvertently reinforce them. This can lead to excessive rumination and overanalysis, causing you to become overly absorbed in your own thoughts. Manifestation is ultimately about taking action. Instead of trying to control our thoughts, we should allow them to flow naturally and focus on engaging in meaningful experiences. It's impossible to completely stop thinking, so why bother trying? What truly matters is not attaching undue emotional significance to our thoughts.

I agree I found that trying to think positively made me more stressed and disappointed when I didn’t succeed. This way seems more relaxed I am going to give it a try!
@Thewritingisonthewallforusall7 ай бұрын
This is what he is explaining. I too am practicing this.
@brianlittrell7976 ай бұрын
@@meetandinspire Manifestation is not ultimately about taking action. It is about being the frequency of your desired outcome.This may or may not involve action. You can for example manifest an outcome with thoughts and feelings alone. Such as thinking about someone coming to you and they do. Or an object being delivered to your door. Or healing someone else at a distance. It is thoughts shifting the matter and energy or attracting the person or objects.

High vibe triber here! Yes! Just being present l discovered few years ago, and it made space for clearer thaughts, easier making decision, tapping into what l feel and what l want. It is a miracle observing your thaughts and seeing for them how they make me feel and about my behaviour and thaughts patterns that are followed by my first thaught. Sometimes l go into the thaught loops, but not as much as before, and when l catch myself here in the loop of thaughts, worry and worse case scenarios, lm more resilient to pick myself up and dust it away. I do something to immerse myself in the present: smell something, or wash my hands

I must admit this is true for me on many levels! My channel is about making a song a day for a year (on the side of all the other stuff). Since I just had to make the songs, without the excess time for thinking, I have started to notice that I reallly let stuff just flow out and learned to LOVE the art I do. And through this setup I've been able to move on to a whole new field of music. P.S. I started thinking about writing this comment, and from there started blocking it in my mind. But the message of the video told me to go back to the original flow and type it in. Mind oh mind😂 Thanks for sending the great message out!

Here from the High Vibe Tribe. Awesome as always, Aaron! Thank you! I was handed something similar about a month ago where I realized everyone will always find exactly what they are looking for. Good, bad, or indifferent. And I realized, same for me. So, the only way to receive the gifts I'm being offered is to just be. To see without looking (or thinking), if that makes sense. I really resonate with what you said about flow and not knowing where something came from because you're connected to the divine that lives in and connects us all. So true. It's such a beautiful place to be. I haven't figured out how to stay there yet. Sometimes I feel like an exhausted yo-yo.

Crazy that I stumbled upon this today. I recently have decided on taking steps on becoming a firefighter (which has been on my mind a lot in the past 4-5 years) I caught myself thinking about it very hard today. I’m driving to work pondering about what I need to do and how I’m supposed to do it and figuring out where to start. I have that as my goal still but I learned from this video that constantly thinking about it won’t make it come faster. Thank you for this knowledge Aaron.

Joy seems to come more effortlessly when I let go of attaching to the idea of how I expect my day to go. Instead I m trying to just be. Being more than doing… quieting the monkey mind chatter. Not always easy, but I have begun to experience small wins. Like anything it takes practice… part of the journey Ty Aaron! U really have a fantastic way of explaining things. ❤

Holy synchronicity Batman! I had this same inspired thought during my walk this afternoon. I was doing a walking meditation and everything you're talking about in this video came to mind- it was the epiphany of thoughts are often the root of suffering, and how much "not thinking" has been really beneficial for me, especially not over thinking. Last year my motto was, "Don't think, just do." And that's also when I started taking "being present" more seriously. So this video is kinda tripping me out right now, lol. Like is Aaron Doughty reading my mind?! Is KZbin reading my mind?! Haha jk, lol. But seriously, it's really trippy. Thanks for the confirmation 😃❤️

@@aBraveNewNormal lmao. "Don't think, just do" actually works pretty effectively with procrastination or doing things you don't feel like doing even though they're things you know you should be doing. Didn't realize I had to spell it out. I guess when you lean more towards positive and neutral thinking, it's easy to forget that people are still stuck in negativity, always jumping to the worst-case scenario.

This reminded me of how I feel when I'm singing and dancing to music I love - I'm not thinking I'm just feeling the music and in the moment and it feels incredible ! It makes me feel like every cell in my body is vibrating ! So today I paid attention to that and noticed the difference when I'm really in the moment or when I play a slower song with words that make me think and it changes my vibration . We have to find those things that allow us to be in the moment - open , filled with love , no thoughts just feeling

when I was trying to get away from a relationship with a sociopath the thing that helped me so much along side Theta Healing(removing subsconscious beliefs) was like Aaron said not to think at all. Mooji meditations helped very much with this. I was in so much pain because of this relationship that the only sense of peace was found when I was meditating, even forgeting of my own personal story. Those were the times when I felt free. And it wasnt long after I started doing that(with great effort in the beginning) along side removing negative beliefs that my whole life shifted in a completely new direction😀
