Talking about 10x, when I wanted to get in shape, I was struggling to force myself to run 5 km at a time. Then there was a half-marathon happening in my town. I found out that it happens every year and I set a goal to not only participate in it next year but to complete it in less than two hours. That was one of the best decisions I ever made. Not only it became much easier to go for a run and gradually increase my running distance, but I also managed to get into the best shape I've ever been in.
