A lot of "clean code" tips violate rule number one. Even though an "if statement" works just fine, they push "short circuit evaluation" as the better syntax, for example.

Don't comment your code and don't edit it either. Break it into small enough pieces and comment the interfaces and if you need to change something just rewrite what is behind those well commented interfaces. That way you have a whole of whatever in you mind instead of guessing. Applies to your own work, too.

Just passing by and noting the question at 3:36: "What are the value [sic] of your variables?". Interesting lapsus on the singular/plural. Besides that, also noting the overspeed. It does not save time because 1) if we hear a bit that's interesting to us, we've got to go back on it - and finding it again once the vid' ended takes more time than what the speed saved; 2) at normal speed, the time spent at hearing things that are of lesser interest to us is used in processing whatever's already been heard that's of more interest to us. If it's too fast to do that while the thing is ongoing, that process has to be done later - and info gets lost that way; 3) too fast also loses impact. Say whatever you want, guys, all the bits that make the brain (reptilian brain, thinking brain a.s.o.) cannot make the connection together (sort of equal to 'cannot brainstorm') at that speed. That's the part of the process that by definition we are not aware of. It's also what makes the difference between average and genius thinking. And that speed does not allow it to work. Example: "what is the value of values? Where does it fit in that discourse / where does he place it?" So gotta listen to the whole thing again, and because it's so fast i can't pinpoint any moment in it that would appear more appropriate for the answer to that. Bugger. Still, very interesting, thanks. Good coverage of the basics. Re. the waste due to overspeed, think of elocution / public taking wisdom.

If one cannot Code, no problem! One of my friend was really horrible at coding, so he joined the petroleum industry as an Engineer and believe me, he earns a stable high salary that is far higher than many new entry-level programmers. Well ofcourse he had to work hard for that but he realised that early. Although I believe how disadvantaged he is but he can atleast pay he bills on time😂😂.

never write comments on why your code works or how it works. if you have to go around the codebase leaving explanations on why your code works. you are probably writing shitty code, leave comments on how to run it or the implementation itself, never on how it works.
