I thread my consew cp206RL. Does sew right. I skip the long dbl threader. That was giving me problems. So, after that, it sew perfect. But, I'm glad I saw your method.

what click ? my check spring doesnt click and my thread is real tight. My tension is on zero and its so tight my leather is curving. Im thinking its my tension disks are holding my thread to tight. ive spent all day trying to make this work

according to the manual included in my 206RL you are not threading yours properly. you are bypassing the top little tension knob/ cork screw above the 3 hole prong. WHY?
