I have been recovering from a serious illness in 2023. Hospitalized 3 times. Things were not very promising the last time. All this last year, I've been telling myself 'baby steps'. I have had many milestones over the last year. Watching this video today, I was reminded of many of those baby steps & and how far I've come since Dec 2023. You're telling us all what I've been practicing this last year. 'Baby Steps' Keep encouraging as you do so well. Thank you do much.

Hello Jayda and Mr. Stitches, I wasn't able to watch this video live but I finally had time to now. That was my goal for this week! HaHa! I appreciate and enjoy your channel so much. We all need to be easy on ourselves as we go through this life. I love writing things down too on a calendar including a little doodle here and there. Spending time with you definitely brightens my day with all things crochet.

Jada, like you, I like real calendars, daily planner, writing on legal paths with different colors of ink. I also enjoy writing notes in the margin of whatever I am reading, unless it’s a library book, of course, and posted notes are great little reminders. HOWEVER. because of my advancing glaucoma, I can no longer use an old school calendar or planner. And, I really don’t like using the Calendar on my iPad Pro. It’s too much work. I would rather drop things down on the real paper with a real pen. No longer being able to read without major magnification, or even write notes to myself has been a big adjustment. But, thanks be to God I can still knit and crochet. It’s a little trickier now, but I can still do it. And that means so much to me, because I love having a hook in my hand, or a set of knitting needles. Wishing you and Mr. David in stitches, and mama a wonderful 2025. By the way, I got a set of the clover, large hooks, and I love them. I especially love the colors of the handles. I didn’t think I would like having a plastic Cook, but these guys are just awesome. No drag.
