Don't waste your time with this technique. You can never get the leverage you need to throw really far using this throwing-it-like-a-frisbee method. PLUS, if you get hung up with the net in your teeth, you're going to end up pulling out one of your corn chompers. Alot of net-throwers talk about right hand- left hand techniques, but that's all relative to whether you're tossing from left-TO-right or vice versa, but either way, "frisbee-ing" it sucks. Go see "Reel Reports" (Miami area KZbinr). HIs technique is easier, safer, and more reliable. No teeth.

This is the method I use. The benefits are exatly what he stated. You have to really mess up to get a bad throw, and it gives you the ability to really wing it and throw farther away from the boat if necessary. Now I just need to get that Black Pearl from Tailwater!

i toss my 10 foot black pearl by loading the same as you. take lead straight down in front ,put in teeth, with right arm use the length of arm and grab the last lead you can reach. hold that arm out and up spin 3 times fast as you can, by that time your net is already maybe 60 percent already open before it pulls away from teeth with two outcomes a perfect donut or a perfect donut but you got dizzy from the spinning tripped and fell in the water
