Thanks, this is the first video I've found that actually show a nicely tied knot. I've always wondered how the new clothes with a belt comes with a perfect knot that I can never recreate after it's loosened. This comes the closest.

Difficult to see how to make the knot because the dress used in this example is a very dark color.

This video made no sense. You can’t use the words ‘this’ and ‘that’ when describing what you’re doing... especially since the video didn’t show how you were actually tying the belt, so we have no frame of reference after the first knot that everyone knows how to do. Guess I’ll just play around with tying the tails ‘this way and that way’

I found everything happens with the, "top" tail. After tge first knot, I brought it down, wrapped it over and back under the bottom tail (which creates a loop) then fed it through that loop.
