I've been doing slightly wrong. The way I've been doing it, causes the bow to naturally sit at a bit of an angle. This is much easier to adjust

Ah, #6, pull the wings forward...OF COURSE! Now that I'll be thinking of how to do it, I'll lose everything 1-10 and have to toss all my bows. You forgot "the dismount" where you have the closest attractive female pull the front wing to release the knot. Always brings a smile and a coo. Curious...they seem to love that sudden burst from tension...
