This is the knot that the master teaches him apprentices when he wants an afternoon off. It takes such a long time to cinch everything down... Does look nice though ^^

That is so cute, I love it! When wound you use this type of knot? Is it considered a closure knot or is it just something you incorporate into the pattern of the bracelet?

could you use this as a stopper at the end of a lanyard? trying to visualize how to do it if you have 2 tag ends, unless maybe you take a loose piece of cord and tie the knot on to the end like a ranger knot?

Do you can do a bracelet with this knot? I know you said it's a single knot, but.... You teach a way of finish a fishtail bracelet and I do from another way. I plugged the bracelet with a carabineer to add some theme to the survival and adventure style. But thanks to you vídeos. It's very instructional. I learn more of knots with you than with my Dad, who "works" with it. And know how to do knots it's awesome to impress chicks. 😏😏😏😎
@TheWeaversofEternity7 жыл бұрын
You can make a sliding knot bracelet with this knot, or like you said use it for a clasp. Glad you're able to learn from these videos! Good luck with the ladies too! ;)

I have some positive reviews. You could use more precise vocabulary. The visual is useful, informative, and would be improved by stating what you WILL do then do it. [Loop or end] Under, over, over through. Then demonstrate rather than demonstrating than saying "like that." The mentor shall tell the pupil the purpose of the step. In the tightening, please state how to track which strand is next.
@TheWeaversofEternity3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your constructive criticism! It's very refreshing to read a comment that explains what can be improved in an educated manner instead of just saying "your video sucks". I have been doing my best to improve the description of the instructions as of late. This video was made some time ago before I started scripting my voice over. I now script the verbal instruction and record it separately to make it more specific and concise. But, I will for sure always strive to improve. Thank you for the comment!
