this channel is crazy. easily the best steelhead fly channel ive come accross, especially since your in WA. im up north just across the border and its nice to find a channel that swings for steelhead instead of nymphing like they do in the lakes. im just so stoked because all your flies are just awesome. im copying every one. also, you should totally have a video of just using classic steelhead/atlantic flies and see how you do. Im curious to see how much of a difference old vs new style patterns make. ive always felt that old school heron spey flies would be better than these new school flies in certain conditions. I would do it but i havent even hooked a steelhead yet lmao.

Thanks Eric that was very kind! Appreciate it greatly! We’ve done very well swinging traditional Spey flies in low clear water in the spring and summer. I will make some videos about my favorite ones! 😊

I tie a variation of this in a couple of other colors but the orange is my favorite , There just so fishy . Thanks for sharing

@@savageandsmith chartreuse and white & chartreuse and black both of those work good in AK and pink and fuchsia for silvers
