''cool'' isn't practical... so I'll stick to paracord for a lanyard... a noose knot is a nice way to keep a bit more paracord in your lanyard...

Leather, in general, isn't really practical anymore. But, sometimes, I enjoy working with a time-honored material. Not everything has to be "tacti-cool" . But, I agree. It is a good way to carry more paracord.
