How to tie a tie - The Diagonal Knot - Subtly Different Necktie Knots

The Diagonal knot is one of my favourite knots. It's very simple and clean and provides a subtle difference to other necktie knots. It is very professional looking, so you can wear this knot for any event. It can be a little tricky to first learn how to tie this knot, but it is definitely worth the effort.
In this series, I am featuring necktie knots that are different in subtle ways. People may not see what they don't expect, so these knots may not register on a conscious level, but it gives the feeling there is something different about this person.

Could you do a video on tie materials and what is the best thickness for achieving great looking knots. Some of my ties just seem to thick for repeated wraps on some knots. Your videos are great, keep it up!

A mí también me ha costado un poco pero si sigues sus indicaciones alfanuméricas en realidad descubres que es muy fácil. La desventaja que este nudo tiene es que la corbata tiende a girarse a un lado y hay que usar un pasacorbatas que a mi juicio está pasado de moda. It took me a while to do the knot but in the end I followed the numeric instructions that appear on the screen and I found out it is no so difficult. The disadvantage of this knot is that the tie keeps on twisting on one side but it is nonetheless very unique. Thanks for these videos. They are very well done.
