How To Tie: A Watermelon Bracelet!

After last month's wrap up I got a few requests for a tutorial on my watermelon pattern. So here it is! I hope it fulfils your summery wishes! :)

Zowee Paige you can start it however you like. I personally did a half-shaped start this time and ties on both ends, last time just ties on either end. 😊

This is really hard to start I tried to start it with the knots ur doing but it just doesn’t work for me. I don’t know what you did.

@@MegMakesCrafts like I just need you to start from the beginning. What knots did you do? I think You used both the dark green strings and did a forward knot and did a forward knot with the white string, AND THEN started doing the bracelet.

🤔 nope the instructions are exact. You start with the dark green and it does a forwards knot over the 2nd dark green and then carries forward like in a Candy stripe and does a forward-backwards knot on the light green string. Then you drop the dark green and grab the light green and do a forwards- backwards knot over the white string. Then you drop the light green and grab the white and do a forwards- backwards knot over your first pink. Then you grab the pink string and do a forwards knot over the second pink. Then you drop it and grab the black. The black does a backwards-forward knot over the pink. Then you grab the pink and do a backwards knot over the black. Then you take the black string again and do a forwards- backwards knot over the pink and then finish your row with your pink doing forwards knots.

The pattern is based off of a basic candy stripe so it doesn’t really need a fancy start. The start I’ve used in this video is half a triangle start- same concept as the full triangle. I don’t have a stand-alone video for it but if you search it I’m sure you’ll find some!
