Ok, so.. WOW this video got a lot of views fast! Thank you & I hope eveyone feels very welcome here! I though I would answer some FAQs & address some things. 🔸 The strings I used in this video are called Craft Cord by Loops & Threads 🔸 The strings were about 2 meters long (They then become 1 meter each when folded) 🔸 I show you how to make the loop here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/moHGoXdjnpd3Zrc 🔸 I teach you all about knot types & how to make them here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mHTPeIF6mNOXg8k 🔸 I teach you how to make the triangle end at the bottom of the bracelet here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZmbWdYZ6eddoqK8 I've seen people commenting that the video is too fast & difficult for them to understand and I just want to address that. The target audience for this video are people who are already somewhat experienced in making bracelets, which is why the process of me making the knots is sped up - it is literally the most basic part of making a bracelet. However, if you feel you need a tutorial on how to make these knots in-depth, I would again suggest you watch a different video of mine where I teach you just that (kzbin.info/www/bejne/jIjEfa2mnJuHd7c) People also seem to be annoyed that I split the instructions in separate videos rather than showing everything in one video. To that I say that this video is already 15 mins long as is. If I had included tutorials on everything I mention in one video, it would have been well over an hour long. Plus, I run a whole channel & I use the same techniques in several of my videos. Making one video & referencing it is much easier & much more convenient for both me & the viewer than demonstrating the same thing over & over again in every single video. And finally, I want to say thank you to everyone who has shown me love on this video & to everyone who has criticised/raised their concerns in a respectful manner. This was the first video I made in a very long time and it is your constructive criticism & my own self-reflection that has allowed me (and still allows me) to grow as a creator, so thank you. However, ❗❗ I do not tolerate any hate or verbal abuse on my channel ❗❗ If you express your concers/criticisms in a hateful manner, with name-calling and verbal abuse, you will be blocked from commenting on my channel. Making bracelets is a relaxing hobby for me & many others and I created this channel to be a safe space for everyone who joins. Sending me hateful comments & messages over a bracelet tutorial is absolutely ridiculous and will not be tolerated. I do, however, want to leave this on a pleasant note, so here's a video I suggest you watch after this one WATCH NEXT: 40 String Mega Bracelet ⏩ kzbin.info/www/bejne/Zp3UeXaBltKLhJI

So pretty! And you have a great philosophy about the gratification of actually seeing the fruits of your creative labors. I am a life-long crafter, never met a craft I didn't like! I have even learned to tie my own fishnets! (Used in decorative macrame, rather than fishing, in my case.) When I make friendship bracelets, I use hand-made bobbin shuttles to wind the threads on. So much easier to keep them untangled, and faster to make your knots with! Just search "netting bobbins and shuttles" or "net making supplies" and you can buy them or easily make your own from plastic packaging or old gift cards! Many blessings to you, from Texas!

To avoid the strings from knotting, I wrap the ends around a bobby/hair pin and secure it with the same bobby pin (if that makes sense) then I just release as much thread as I need. Not sure if it’s helpful for anyone, but for me it changed the way and speed I do bracelets and can have whatever length ☺️

Hey thanks for the videos! I’m new to making bracelets but I found that black electrical tape works very well to hold down the bracelet. You can put a good amount of tension on it and peel it up and stick it down several times. It was all that I had. I’m not sure how the adhesive would treat different types of fabrics but I say you should give it a try!

This video has a special place in my heart. I started making bracelets in 9th grade which was not a great time in my life, and knotting helped me cope. The fishbone chevron was the second bracelet I ever made, right after the chevron (as per your suggestion to start with the chevron) and that bracelet kept me sane. Because I used so many colors it took me forever, and it kept me going. Every single class I was knotting this. And I kept coming back to this video for tips, and I was also wondering how you filmed this so I kept coming back to the "tripod between my arms" thing as well. Also, I started making bracelets right when you started to revive your channel. I think I watched this video shortly after it came out, so I was here for the ride from the beginning. Now I'm a high school graduate taking a gap year and looking forward to starting college in the fall. I don't think I would be up to this point in my life without you and your videos, Masha. And guess what, I still keep up with the channel and I'm still knotting! (though albeit not as much because becoming older comes with more responsibilities) I'm actually revisiting this video because I'm remaking this bracelet 4 years later! Never stop creating, Masha. You and your bracelets bring a lot of joy into this world. Thank you so much for all you do.
