I am not a beginner but I've always found that this knot can be difficult to see/learn in many videos because the instructor's fingers obscures the process and you have found an excellent way around that problem. Thank you and a big thumbs up on the video. I look forward to studying with you more.

After you have made the knot and taken all the slack out, soak it in water for 5min and then let it dry. Paracord shrinks, and will make the knot very tight.

I was just about to give up on this one. funny thing is, when I do this after braiding a four strand leather round braid, I can do this knot with no problem. When I'm done I like to make the loop large enough to slip my hand through, then I slip the loop into a lanyard bead & slid it down to rest it on the knot. Then I put a Nitize mini S beaner on the loop & attach the finished lanyard with bead to the lanyard attachment on my multitool. That way I can have a lanyard around my wrist in case I drop the tool from up high or working over a tank. I can take the lanyard off the multitool quickly using the S beaner. I can swap it out with a different colored lanyard & different bead. Thank you for the tutorial.
