Putting the materials list up on screen is a fantastic idea! Wish other KZbinrs would do that too. Great video, I might have to tie some of these for brooktrout. Maybe even try one for Lake Michigan steelhead. Thx Benny.

Just ordered up the materials from you guys for this deadly looking fly. I have a feeling this will slay the Upper Peninsula of Michigan rainbows!

I once showed a pink shrimp to one of my fly fishing buddies and he said "Oh look you already cooked them". Of coarse we both had a good laugh.

Thanks for the video. One question: why don't you add tails to this fly? Again, great work.

Hey Alex, Thanks and it's just an attractor that is more of a grub looking bug. For some reason the trout love it.

Hi just wondering what makes you choose the colors when tying a non natural fly like this one. like hot pink and the gold tinzel, is would you ever tie this fly with purple legz keeping all other things the same?

Any tips for keeping the legz straight on the fly? My biggest problem is that the legz seem to flare out at awkward angles.

Jesse, Thanks for the comment and yes. I personally have a nice thread or thin dubbing built up about as wide as that middle part on the Legz in the thorax area. Place them on top and the front set of Legz on top so that you tie them in flush with the bead. Just like in this video, two wraps there, two in the middle and two behind the next set. Back to the middle and place your dubbed thorax. You will see how easy this is and please let me know if this helps.

You might able to substitute the yarn with tan rainbow sow scud dub
