I'm a new rider and my chain is at the high end of the specs. I was really worried about riding it too lose but after seeing this I think I can get one more ride in lol. Thanks for the video. Still helping people out 6 years later. =)

Wow! Chain was loose?!! I'm surprised it didn't pop off and wrap around your axle. Dude...what's up with that? Still liked.

Idk if you see this comment. But I wasn't a 100% sure if you could easily adjust the chain with a stand since I dont have on. Thanks for the video!

Velysean I don’t have a stand so I had to figure out a way to make it work. I’m not a bike mechanic but it seems to do the job. Thank you for your support!

@@fubar5656 Yeah same here. My chain is getting a tad loose but no where near as bad as yours. Like yours was on a while other level XD.

Velysean they chain was getting old so I think that’s why it was so bad. Ended up changing it.

U dont put it on a rear stand?
@fubar56566 жыл бұрын
tommyadamski no I sure don’t. I don’t have a stand right now and this method has been working out for me 🤞. Thank you for your comment!

So u loosen the axle nut and roll the tire on the kick stand?
@fubar56566 жыл бұрын
tommyadamski I have the bike on the kickstand just as I normally do when I get off the bike. I loosen the axel nut on both sides of the rear wheel. There are adjustment bolts on each side by the axel nuts. Mine has notches to help make sure you have even adjustment. Not sure if this answers your question or not.

That's the title: (without a stand)...I know he could have reinforced the title with the video. You'll notice it's on the floor. Maybe talk about any downsides or cautions if you choose not to use a stand. I'm one for not following conventions but "user beware"...there's could be a problem.
