You did so good fitting and laying these huge tiles. It's hard not to be impressed. It's said to run your trowel lines to the shortest tile to let the air out as you lay it I love the Grabbo. I imagine you can use it on MDF too. My favorite part of the job is kicking spacers

Thank you! The Grabo makes all the difference. I have done this before without it and its a completely different work flow. Possible, but not fun! I think you really can use it for anything flat, its a super tool. I hate kicking them, I'm always afraid I'll chip something and have to tear a tile out!

Looks great! How much product did you have to mix to cover the area of that floor? What is the size of that floor? Also, how long do you have to work with the product before it cures on you? 🤔

I don't remember exactly but not even a whole bag of large format thinset. I believe I did two separate mixing batches. This is approximate but the floor is maybe a little over 6.5 feet by 5 or 6 ft. The tiles are 2X4 feet. The thinset won't cure or set up all the way, buy you'll notice its just getting thicker in your bucket and when you trowel it out, it's not as smooth, or the top of the trowel lines- if you trowel it out and wait, start to skim over. Sometimes I put a moist rag over the top of my bucket to help keep it wet in there. I think your bag of the brand you work with will probably give you an approximate working time on the specs.
