How are you not loosing your dry eraser line? I always use a china marker. Seems like the slip solution would make it come right off...

Tyson, thank you for the message. I use a sharpie, not a dry erase. You can use the china marker too I just don't prefer the slide-ability of that product.

That offers ZERO protection for the interior and its occupants. It's just a spray dye the manufacturers use.

May i ask why not computer cut ? I’m new to tinting and trying to learn I just don’t know why not just computer cut is it not the way to go ?

It all depends on the shop and preference. There is no right or wrong way to do it. We hand cut about 75% of the time and use a plotter the other 25% of the time. Hope this helps.

@@based_conventionsometimes it’s actually slower. Just grab the film and double cut and you’re ready to shrink and be done by the time you set up the plotter, cut, and weeding the film. Also, a lot of these software (especially Eastman) have shotty patterns on certain vehicles. Also don’t forget they don’t have patterns for older cars, or New cars that come out

You should take the 3 whole screws out and pop the rear panel off. Guaranteed dirt this way. Look at all the struggling to get it into place. Ridiculous that LLumar gives license to installers that don't even use a plotter lol

Have you SEEN the patterns Core cuts? Trust me.. a lot of tint shops would rather hand cut then waste (expensive) llumar film. Don’t get me wrong, they’re great for 1/4 panels and sunroofs, but just bc you have a plotter, doesn’t mean you tint/shrink any better. My dad will cut, shrink and install 4 side windows before people can plot and weed all the needed film.
