Austin goes in depth on how to tint one of the hardest auto windows in the tinting industry. A Chevrolet C6 Corvette back window. Showing his preferred method of technique & giving expertise on how to avoid commonly made mistakes. Please note : That even after watching Austin perform this, it’ll still take practice. In additional he highly encourages you to pay close attention to the little details of his techniques. But with plenty of hands on practice and study of this video you will eventually master the art of tinting this extremely challenging curved glass.

As the former number one instructor at the only accredited window tint School in the world and a window tinter for 40-plus years this is an excellent demonstration. Just remember we make it look easy but it definitely takes practice. Swirling the heat gun it's called cascading and cascading is the proper way to shrink fingers. Great job great demonstration. AKA little daddy...

What kind of card are you using? Would teflon on a hard card work or melt?? Having a hell of a time with rear windows with my method of tools now. Trying to finish up a C6 in my garage right now. Not a beginner overall...but definitely not a PRO...yet!! This video should save me money down the road by not ruining film!! Great info!!

Heat gun is normally on high. We use Llumar films, it's very hard to crease/burn it unlike some other films. Thanks for watching!

Thank you for the great lessons. I've been doing a few 2020 Civic hatchback back windows and there always seem to be fingers that pop up when installing, even though the shrinking process was a success. Is there a way to avoid this or is it something you just have to deal with?
