Is charcoal tint same as carbon tint?

The door panels should always be covered in plastic sheeting, always. Soapy water can corrode electronic (switch) connections as well as stain some leathers. This is a simple and quick process that installers do!

Nice to see you put so much attenton to detail, i might also use masking tape at the begining of de dot matrix before using the steel wool, to make sure you wont scratch the glass.

Super late. But most vehicles have a drain that automatically goes to the bottom of the door. And you open the plug at the bottom of the door to drain the water.

Just had my windows tinted 3 days ago and the bottom of the tint for the drivers side has cracks (bmw 4 series convertible so the window goes down when door is opened) is there anything I can do to fix this or stop it from happening again as the company provided lifetime warranty but this is second time it has happened

That's just the science to it, lol... No, this is his process but there's other ways to go about this without accounting for the sliding of the film to the back edge. I can't post a video but watch a few other installs and you'll see that what he did, while not wrong, is more work than necessary.
