I’ve watched countless tint videos and this is by far the most informative and easy to understand tutorial.
@15seconds36 жыл бұрын
If you leave the release liner intact instead of cutting it off, the water rolls down away instead of dripping onto the door panel. That reduces water by 30% dripping onto door panels. Also, your hard roll-up causes the edge of the tint to crease. As well, it wouldn't hurt to show how you prepped the top of the door gasket to prevent contaminants from drawing back from fingers and dust flicking back onto the exposed glass.. From a pro tinter with 25 years experience, over 20,000 installs.

Hey man good effing videos. How do you know when to shrink the film and when not to? And how do you know when to remove the door panel and when not to?
@WindowTintWarriors10 жыл бұрын
You typically don't need to remove door panels on any car; removing the door panel just make installation much easier for beginners. any time you are tinting a door when you are not removing the panel you should always shrink the film on the outside. The reason you do this is so that when you install the film and lay it under the gasket as seen in this video you will not have any fingers or any large fingers.
@emilianozapata195410 жыл бұрын

You use the heat gun to shrink the tint in order for the tint to fit the inside of the glass appropriately? I ask to understand why you use the heat gun. Other wise the tint won't fit on the inside of the glass? Thank you for explaining the process in detail. So heating the tint with the heat gun helps to remove the air bubbles under neither the tint and shrinks the tint to fit the window?

I do have one question that no one seems to answer. How after you cut the front and shift forward, then cut the back. You don’t need to center the film before you cut the top? Won’t that when installed and centered throw off the front edge of the top? I don’t see how it won’t if not centered before cutting the top. Sean, can you answer this for me cause I seriously lose sleep over this lol.
@santanamoss10159 жыл бұрын
Hey sean how come you have to move your tint up a quarter of a in after your first cut
