fyi ladies who have grey or white hair growing in: I'm 47 & I've been using this product 7a on my roots for 10 years- the color doesn't ever leave my hair. as it grows out I color my greying roots every 2-3 weeks but the entire length of my hair remains medium ash brown which is obviously a good thing. also I allow it to develop for 30 min.

You could be using permanent. Theres a big difference in longevity between permanent and demi permanent.

10 is meant for depositing, not for lifting hair color (especially if in 30 minutes.will do nothing).
