Ive actually been on the other end of a tow line, I had a guest flight on a glider we was ground based towed up but when you get "over the top and have to ditch the tow line" OMG then the words 'we are stable You have control" and Im like I wish I have never up chatted my way through the pre fight, anyway my instructor gave me some tips to bleed speed off an amazing side slip and after 20mins I landed perfectly...so as a pilot my log book reads 1 landing 0 take offs !!!! If any of you get the chance to do a glider flight TAKE IT !
