One of your best videos. It perfectly encapsulates the philosophy that winning many small battles wins the war. This is a great view into your decision making logic, that by leaving some profits on the table and locking in reasonable gain you effectively create effective risk management instead of gambling for large profits and losing everything. Also, a good primer on the balance between science and art in trading, since some of your moves are very logical and some instinctive. It looks like you pull out with your gains just before the greedy traders are hoping for more and therefore you end up taking their money.

TD Ameritrade has scanners that are free, though I personally have not used them as I have my scanners setup on Trade Ideas. I do also go over my morning watchlist daily here on KZbin, I go live at 9:15am EST.

I have a question for all the noobs like me. It's a bit different (possibly) ... When learning and paper trading, how many of you have/were or are paying for things like scanners and what not? ... I'm still paper trading but don't have any paid scanners, as I don't want to spend the $$$ just yet. Should I stick with the free ones like Finviz/tradingview, the only problem is with that I'm only finding the stocks after they sky rocket not b4 - another reason I'm looking at getting a paid scanner? Just not sure if it's worth it until I'm ready using Real $$$ ... paid scanners are like $120 a month, but feel like I can save that for my real account money :)

It's certainly a good question. What I say to our members is wait on paying for scanners and just be in the chat room in the mornings when I go over my watchlist, I share my scanners with everyone in the chat room via live stream. Congrats on such a great day Ross! Quick question for you.. I traded ADAP today but only because Finviz has the float at 11.26 million. However, your scanner clearly says 87 million.. Is Finviz a crappy scanner??

Chris, sometimes the float can be misleading as different places show different floats. I like to focus on the price action as it can be obvious when a stock has a much higher/lower float just by the volatility.

You can get started with as little as 1 screen! As you get more comfortable, you can add 1-2 additional monitors if you need them. It is definitely not necessary to have 6 screens

Well your bank should be receiving three things: Intermediary Bank Details (if requested), Destination Bank, and Beneficiary/Recipient Details They're aware it's an international transfer right? The SWIFT code is effectively the routing number. At my bank I have to run international transfers through the Branch Manager in person, no other bank employee is allowed to do them. So, it's entirely possible if you just went to a normal bank teller they had no idea how to do an international wire. This was with US Bank by the way.
