Hi, when doing sell naked put in margin account (tiger broker), do we need to have 100% cash/own stock value for the amount of 100 unit share? If we dont have 100% cash/own stock value, we wont be charged interest if sell naked put right? Hope you can clarify for me. Thanks a lot

You literally sell it like selling a stock. Fees do apply for options trading though

Is it safe to do buy call (365 days) + sell call(7days), to get the premium every single week etc in tiger Brokers? Will Tiger Broker understand this technique? Cuz I dun Wan the brokerage buy the 100 stocks where actually the “buy call option” can cancel it out in the event the “sell call option” went through...

You're talking about selling call options, which is bit more advanced topic which I wouldn't really recommend unless you already own the 100 stocks. That's bit beyond the scope of this intro video

Hi, I am new to this. I don't understand why there's so many prices to choose from. Wouldn't you want to set the call option strike price to be as low as possible? Why did you choose 130 when you could have done a lower amount?

Options are about predicting prices in the future, it's bit of a risk reward balance. The more likely you'll hit the target price the lower the returns. I would suggest just try it out in demo account first

Options expire either in out or out of money. Or you can sell out of your position before the expiry date. Options cap gains and losses, unless you're talking about covered calls, won't really be covering those since they're bit more in depth for this basic video

Hey i have one question. You gave premium and buy call option and suppose on the expire date price will increases. But as per contract you will buy on old price right? So on expiry date do you have to pay full amount like 130*100‽

@@henkhustle thanks for the reply. I am still learning sorry for the silly questions. I want to know like in video you buy 100 shares at 148 premium. But the actual price for 100 share will be huge. But you only pay 148 1. Do you have to pay the full amount for 100 shares later? 2. Suppose the value of share will increase and we sold it. So we get 148 + profit per share. Right? 3. And the last question is we can sell these share whenever before expiry date or do we have to wait till expiry date. Really appreciate your reply thanks 😊 my main doub it like how can we get 100 shares just at 148 so i was thinking that we need to pay later.

Assuming you're talking about call option here. 1. No 2. You get the (final price - strike price when you bought option) 3. You can sell before expiry date. The premium price is calculated by the broker using many different factors. It is not the same as share price, so you should treat the 2 differently. Premium is the cost of the option not the share

Hi hank i have held a sharisies acnt for 3 years ,now i had over 100k nz invested i through myself in the deepend and lost money trying all ideas as i loved the trading bug i have brought ans sold my shares recently over the last year and slowly gained back my losses now iv open a tiger acount and playing the demo acount as im thinking of jumping ship is this what you have done i am greafull of your videos over the years you have taught me alot can i ask where you are based as i am in Marlborough south island nz i dont like the lack of responce with sharsies when it comes to my buy n sell as i miss alot of trades tiger is quick although i have not had much experience with tiger as yet john

@@henkhustle thanks I have had several problems with sharsies they always reply with an answer although I know it's not right I had photo everdence of a trade from Google and sharesies they had to give me a payout and free membership to keep quiet that's the only thing keeping me going and my kids acount but tiger has my interest I'd be keen to meet you next time I'm in chch my family live their I moved after the quakes
