i would add 2 straps too!!!...that bike looked pretty wiggly when he pushed it...i guess it all depends on the mounting of the floor plates !!!

Very interesting. Back in the late 70s. We used to load 11 sometimes as many as 20 dirt bikes. Every Sunday. Head to the Tillamook burn Oregon. A very big place to ride. Learned to use ropes. Stepdad was in the navy. That bar is a great way to secure the bike. Thank you for sharing

Oh man. I miss the days of dirt bike riding. The very first motorcycle I ever rode was Yamaha YZ 80. I was 15 or so and that thing felt like a rocket it was so fast!

I have the biker bar installed in my trailer for my Heritage. It sets low enough to allow me to put my trike in trailer without contact. Love this thing for sure. Great video

I purchased a pair of these 5+ years ago as a gift for my husband! He installed them in our toy hauler. He's trailered our bikes thousands of miles to bike events without one incident! Cannot brag about these enough! Worth every penny! By the way, it only works on motorcycles with full frames. So, the Indian Scout was traded for an HD Sport Glide to accommodate.

I found out the hard way and hauled my new at the time 2014 CVO from Chicago to New Hampshire. Went to start it when I got out there and the battery was dead and done for. Had to put a new one in. Got home and still didn't know about the trailer mode and same thing, needed a new battery again, there was no saving it.

If memory serves correctly, Harley Moon Rider uses that, too. A lot better than trying to use tie downs, and potentially damaging the forks.

Hey Greg! I towed it to VAMM21 last year and that was a good 4 to 5 hour trip. I also take the bike over to my in-laws from time to time and they are a few hours away. That crap would never go on my bike. Stressing the frame while working loose down the road. Damn think held in the trailer with two half inch bolts. Give me the locking wheel chock.

This is a great idea! I have been looking at trailers and was worried about the straps. And it looks like this is just bolted to the floor into the wood. Is there anything underneath the trailer like nuts or lock washers? Thanks for sharing this it is just what I needed to know. Ride Safe

Yeah. It’s bolted through to the floor of the trailer. So far I have had zero problems and it really secured the bike. Great product for sure. Hoping to use it a lot more this spring and summer too. Take care and thanks for watching!!

Hey Ty, I got a question for you. Does your rear brake line run along the outside top of the frame? The reason I ask is that is the situation for my 2012 Street Glide. I'm worried that when tightening the biker bar, the right side clamp will damage the brake line. Which would be a real problem.

Hey Rich. That's a great observation. No problem with the kickstand but sometimes you have to pull up the kickstand and lift it over the biker bar. It sounds wayyyyy more complicated than it is. Nope. I can see the handle that used to tighten it catching a foot when removing the bike. I'll stick with racheting straps that don't slip.
