How to train a #puppy obedience without force with Emma Willblad ,use of food for #obedience !!!
Thanks for watching this video!
In this video you can see my wife Emma Willblad training the basics with our youngest #malinois puppy. Emma has been training #dogs for over 20 years for competitions. Mostely freestyle dogs but also a lot of FCI obedience on top levels.
Emma has also been working a lot with dogs for televisions & film productions. 2008 she was invited to Oprah Winfrey show as one of Oprahs guests to preform with her dog.
In this video we present our new Belgian Malinois puppy , Diana Keaton is Always Crazy .We call her Silly ...this 15 min is only a small part of our hard work with her in the last 6 months .
This is the basic of our #puppytraining schutzhund program . We want to create high drived #dogs with big working etics !!!
#Belgianmalinois #puppy ,the first 6 months of #obedience #protectiontraining... with #EmmaScinteieWillblad \ Viorel Scinteie

What happens when you run out of doggie treats? Will the dog still respond?
@allthingsblue6990
@allthingsblue6990 3 жыл бұрын
@@sailronin yes. It’s called an intermittent reward schedule. The dog always believes there’s a chance of reward and they find the activity reinforcing as well. You wouldn’t move to an intermittent schedule with a dog this young, you want to solidify the basics and build drive at this age.

Wow lots of people who’s macho attitude feels very challenged by the idea you can train a dog for IPO without using fear or pain- It’s called being a better trainer than Joe Shmoe with his $900 shock collar that the batteries fizzle out on. You’re doing awesome work! That dog could not be happier listening to you! I’m hoping to bring up a SAR dog with the same methods some day soon. In the mean time, my GSD is thriving with force free training.

Great job! I have a question, is this possible to do with Alaskan malamutes? I have 2 and I find it extremely difficult to work with the as they’re very stubborn. Thanks so much for any advice.
@yoepix
@yoepix 5 жыл бұрын
Christina M. Malamutes are a harder breed to train. You definitely can train them though. This dog and it’s breed is built for working and obedience much different than a malamute is. I have never seen a malamute participate in this kind of training for this sport, but someone out there may have. This is not easy to do even with a dog bred for this specific purpose. How old are your malamutes by the way?

I have a question. How do you train a Malinois puppy to attack? I just got one last month and he’s three months old. We’re trying to train him to attack but he doesn’t hold on tight.
@mottlyness
@mottlyness 4 жыл бұрын
Please read this to the end , it's not an attack towards you it's just what I consider relatively good advice , but , if you haven't researched it or watched endless videos on KZbin then I really don't think this is the dog for you , have you ever owned a dog ? If not then I suggest you sell or give it to someone who has done both and more ! Seriously , watch , listen and read as much as you can , all pedigrees and some non , are bred for A , or a FEW different qualities and you really need to know about your breed , it's needs , it's qualities , it's faults , and what you will end up with if you don't do all the things that are required to own that breed , your breed is an extremely intelligent and active breed and NEEDS constant training or stimulation , NEEDS to be able to work in the environment or similar for what it is bred for ! Have it's baby teeth even fallen out yet ? If not , you need to be careful with it anyway and not expect it to hang on whilst you spin round with it ! And if it has lost them , it's three months old ! You can't expect it to do that anyway ! Please consider the dog and yourself , if it doesn't get enough stimulation you will have a very unhappy dog that will get bored and start entertaining itself , making you unhappy , if you don't take my advice on the dog , at least take my advice on if you don't stimulate your dog enough , then get a skip , you're gonna need one !!! Some breeds just don't make the best pets , there are other breeds that will protect you and your family if trained properly that don't need the same time consuming attention and stimulation , any dog , big or small that attacks someone is still a very unnerving experience and is enough to deter most attackers or put them off and give you or your family enough time to react , escape or defend yourself more easily , please watch as many clips about training your Dutch shepherd/ Malinois as you can , it's not as easy as they make it look either , you HAVE to know how to achieve the obedience they have , it's still hours and hours , days , weeks months and years to obtain and maintain all of it . If you think very carefully about what I have said and act accordingly , then I thank you , and believe me , your dog will too , I wish you all the best and if you have got this far ? I thank you

At three months old he is not ready to do what u want and you arent ready for that responsablity either..........obedience comes first.........Watch the video it lasts 15min but this is 6months+ of training in 15min it takes time and every dog is different maybe he doesn’t have the nerves for protection work or more than likely u arent teaching him in steps and building his confidence,at three months his mouth is soft and his teeth fragile,puppy bite pillow very gentely PLAY and as things progress he may need some agitation work with a decoy. Seen lots of people make there dogs bite shy because of being to rough when they are too young...........jumping dogs to far to early is common too wait till its a year before u let it do any big jumps

This does look good a few times the dog was anticipating the command however it can not be recreated 100 percent of the time. All dogs and Owners and Trainers are different. Before anyone rags on me yes it may seem my statement is obvious but to many it is not
@k9aid514
@k9aid514 4 жыл бұрын
@David Keeling Not necessarily, when the dog anticipates he or she may start off on last command and not pay attention to the actual command given. The anticipation should be on the trainer not the tool, treat or reward. When I train I start with command first then we work on hand and voice then we can drop the voice part and just use hand signals. However most times its what the dog and owner are capable of.

Incorrect, as dogs’ tails tend to be held over the back when excited which can give the appearance of a curl. They have not made the pup aggressive- the dog views the biting as a game. This is absolutely protection work, they’re building bite and prey drive in a puppy- like learning algebra before calculus. You wouldn’t ask a 6 month old dog For complex search or hold- you want to just build drive. Maybe learn more about both the breed and the sport requirements before offering an uneducated opinion?
