Nice techniques, I will try these. I have a beagle and she is 2 months old now. Pee and Poo is main challenge so your trick should help. And yes, still she wakes up at least once in the night which is another challenge as my sleep gets disturbed and have to be with her for 10-15 mins at least till she sleeps again.

Both are diff in size and nature. If you want a small height dog than beagle. If you ok with size but want a dog who would listen to you more than Retriever. Beagle are cute but super active.

Try doing with a treat/biscuit. Every time put his paw in your hand and do a hand shake and then give a treat and eventually he will learn but you have to be patient and keep on doing this... All the best 😊

I've named my beagle hela cuz she is a destroyer! Hi buddy, thats a cute name. So biting is in their habit and it stays for initial few months. As they grow old they will stop. Wait for 3/4 months. Till then enjy the naughtiness...just deal with patience as it in their nature.

Hi dear, its common problem with beagle . They are like this. You can put him in leash or harness when for some time when he does that. Try to say nose and one trainer asked to politely hit 2 fingers on top of his nose and say no. Rest that are stubborn and our beagle is also the same...😁we need to adjust

Its depends buddy. My beagle is very naughty and is not easy to handle. He needs attention and someone has to be with him. Think of factors like who would raise him, how much time you have in a day and so on. Compare dog breed as per your situation..

Beagle is a perfect family dog. Cant say much about training as they are very active and naughty. If you thinking of obedient dog in beagle than you might be wrong 😁. They are really cute but do what they like. Majority of them.

I can't agree with Simply Inder more. They are amazing dogs that get along with all people and pets of all kinds but they are considered to be not a great first dog because of their separation anxiety and difficulty of training (at least for some tasks). The phrase "It's lucky they are so cute" comes to mind. lol

I tried your trick to pick him and take him to the washroom. My beagle just whines at the door and wants to be let out. She just won’t pee/poop. The minute I open the door she will pee/poop in the living room. Any suggestions?
