It's nice to see dog training simplified! If you would like to put in some more videos for other types of commands like down come paw what other commands you know that it would be fun to practice with your dog it would be nice to see that! Of course Annie is well trained so she makes it look very easy! She is adorable!

Thank you, Annie was not fully trained in the beginning when I was making these videos. You can watch to learn all the commands in this playlist. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aHTZpXmZg6-Hq68

Great tips and they work. But will this interfere with retrieving with labs where you want them to wait for your command before they retreive whatever it is they are retreiving?

This is such a great channel, thank you Saro! My whippet is quite stubborn as a sight hound. Do you think these lessons will work?

Thanks for the video, very helpful. Could you consider making something relating to barking in/out of home?

Please, my dog barks to go out, barks for a drink, barks for his meals, get the picture? I have tried ignoring, blocking him into a corner and saying No, yes, the dreaded treats!!! And the water squirter!!! But if I ignore him he scratches the doors or barks even louder

Don't have problems with sit, stay, wait, just when he is demanding attention, never could get him to lie down and stay, lies down for two seconds!!!

Mine would never drop the ball and got aggressive if you tried to get it

First time I went to puppy training, Bertie had to sit and stay on a mat, instead, he got up and proceeded in trying to grab and carry off all the other dogs mats, like I said, he s a naughty boy!!!! Never laid on a mat yet!!!, Chairs, carpet, yes, mat, noooooo!!!!

How do you get them to sit, if they don't know that "sit" means putting they bottom on the ground?
@SaroDogTraining3 жыл бұрын
You teach them previously by training it. Here is a video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/n2PRoIKfrJeZnpI

Clearly this dog was already taught to sit. I’d like to see how you trained him to do that. The rest of the video was very helpful. Thank you!

Thanks for the view. Her name is Annie and here is how I taught her to sit. kzbin.info/www/bejne/n2PRoIKfrJeZnpI

I just watched the video. Thank you so much. This type of training makes so much more sense to me. I am a raw feeder so trying to calculate in the treats to the daily food plan was getting ridiculous.
@SaroDogTraining3 жыл бұрын
Great point! That is another reason why I don't suggest using treats as well because if you feed the right diet to your dog, you don't want to use crap treats to train your dog.

My dog starts biting the leash when I tried it

Try playing first and stimulating it physically first before you start the training.
