Awesome! A year ago, I watched Pietschmann's disembodied video of this song, loved it, and downloaded the 6-page sheet music to give it a try. I gave up after the first few measures. Too many sharps = Big Fail. Months later, I came across your video and was inspired to try it again. It's been two weeks now, and I've almost mastered the first page! My family is getting sick of hearing me practice. My kids roll their eyes. My wife is threatening to leave me. I don't care. I love this song. It's odd that I can't find anyone else but you who performs this version on youtube. Until I hear a better performance, I'll keep coming back to your video for inspiration! Thanks for making this! Update: It's been 6 weeks, and I'm finally on page 6, which is the easiest page. Overall, I found that the 2nd part of this entire song is easier to learn than the 1st, which was a pleasant and much needed surprise for me. So for those of you who are initially discouraged (like me), keep at it and you'll get to the end of this wonderful song.

Words like 'stellar' or 'wild' don't even begin to describe this performance, the emotion - audible and visible. Absolutely fabulous. I have this on repeat and lost count after a few dozen. I particularly like how those sforzatos on the low D octaves in 'Test Drive' deliver an extra edge. Perfectly done, Maxy! Sheet music is printed... and it looks quite challenging. 😅

Man first thought was “she’s cute”, then it was “she’s incredible”, that piano is as much a part of her as her fingers. I always enjoy watching extremely skilled musicians like guitarists and pianists where the world they’re in and channeling their music from is visible on their face, like the persons soul has taken over and the brain is just dancing. Incredible rendition. I forgot my audiophile critique of the mic not doing justice in the louder portions because I felt the music clear as day like I was in the room.
