How to Transcribe Any YouTube Video to Text (100% Legal)

Interesting scenario with AssemblyAI and their generous free qty of tokens. Thanks! I’d be very interested in how you would approach a modified workflow that allows you to conditionally save a 480p/720p/1080p copy of the video in mp4 and/or the audio in mp3 format to either the same Airtable DB/linked table or cloud storage solution (ie: Google Drive, Dropbox, or etc.). The filtered conditions such as video length, published date, keywords, and etc. The videos I’m mainly interested in are shorter videos < 15 mins and Airtable attachments would be most ideal. In addition to saving the video/shorts it would be nice if the transcript could include delimited time stamped blocks of text for a predefined time interval (ie: every 10 seconds) and stored in a long text field within the same Airtable DB too. Hope that all makes sense and I subscribed just in case you take up the challenge 😊

Whisper is a good alternative for this case. Thanks for reminding me about it! As for Russia, I have no idea about the state of AI there, as I haven’t been there for a very long time.
