In this video, I'll share how to move one of your GarageBand projects from your iPhone or iPad to your mac laptop or desktop, WITHOUT losing any important information. I hope this video is helpful to you! -- Jason @MSP

is it possible to pull a whole Logic project over to Garageband IOS so we can mix on the road? I could only see the plugin solution here, but can you show us how to take a mullti track project in Logic and make it appear on your phone as multi track?

Hi! Unfortunately, there is no way to open a Logic project on GarageBand. It is a one-way ticket from GB (either OS or iOS) to Logic. The only way to do this (kind of) is to export your tracks individually from Logic and then import them one at a time into GB. Not sure you'd want to do that though.

I have iPhone iOS 15.6.1. AirDrop is a joke...and bluetooth won't even recognize my Mac sitting right in front of me. Wi-Fi? same garbage. Apple is foisting iCould on us making it impossible for us to copy anything over without consuming a whole aafternoon for our life. This video is 20 minutes long. The more IPhone updates we accept the more they make the simplest functions a prison sentence. btw Your title should iPad only and not "iOS". The iPhone is not the same as your video.

Hi, Jay! Sorry you're having trouble. Anything I can help with? Good point on the title - this example was done on the iPad and not on an iPhone.

@@museablesmokeproductions I discovered that Apple penalized me for not updating my iPhone. The 2nd one in 36 hours. All exporting/sharing was disabled -without notice- until I updated my iPhone. GarageBand Mac was already updated. Garage Band iPhone was newly installed. I think Garage Band LIVE loops are just a gimmick. When exporting to Logic Pro for real producing, the built in data to loops is lost, relegating you to audio files only.
