Incredible! The transition person from my cellphone provider was unable to transfer this info for me. I was given a tech support phone number and that person could not get it done. He gave me a local tech number to contact for an appointment. That person was also unable to transfer anything. After a couple glasses of wine and a good night's rest, I fortunately discovered this video. A 2 minute and 57 second video, less than 2 minutes of implementation and an additional 2 minutes of transfer time, all of my contacts and calendar were transferred perfectly. I'm still working on photos and videos but thank you, thank, you thank you!

Thanks a lot. After 8pathetic hours of all the other videos and methods, this worked. The last v card method works. Just that the ui has changed so you have to click on select all and click on 'share' icon on the right top corner side and then. export VCard. Thanks again.

i had the same issue, on my screen there was no gear issue but once i selected all contacts, in the upper right hand corner to the left of the plus sign is a import button with a lil upward arrow-- i clicked that and chose to import the vcard :) it worked!! thank goodness

Or just store your contacts in google contacts, and access them from any device anywhere (iphone, android, web browser, etc). No need to "transfer" them anywhere.

i always save my contacts in google account but somehow this time it wont sync all my contacts (mixed up with icloud) this video helps me (tried the google drive method, only took 2 minutes).

how would you 'just store' when apple doesn't allow you to select where to put them. I'd store them in gmail in a second if apple allowed it, but they are a failing company with no innovation updates to most products in years! they are constantly out to screw their customers with lock in and more charges for less service.
