In this video I show you how to transfer data out of a cracked broken screen smartphone to another phone. The App I use in this video is called Copy My Data. This App makes it easy to transfer contacts, pictures, and videos from one phone to another even if they are not the same brand.

I feel ya, but its something. You never know, most of us don't have an extra screen laying around, but I'd put money on it that there's someone out there that does! (Like myself, I save old phones in case I need it later, whether it's the battery, the screen or the phone itself.) Lbvs. It's an option. 🤷🏼‍♀️ So for those rare people that do have a screen/phone laying around, this is for them. (Or for those that have something in there they need that's worth spending $20 on a screen, in order to get their valuable or priceless stuff out of it.) I know I would spend 20 to get irreplaceable pics/videos of my kid out of a phone. 🤷🏼‍♀️ but that's just me..

I spent hours trying to find a way to get my pictures off my phone with no luck. I had a very difficult situation because not only did my screen not work but my charging port was non responsive so I couldn't connect it to my pc. I followed your recommendation and ordered a screen for Galaxy S20FE and I am currently transferring my photos as I'm typing this comment. If your screen has no touch but the lcd is working you can use an OTG cable... S8 upwards comes with the OTG adapter in the box which allows you to plug a USB mouse. Great way if your lcd works but no touch.

Welcome. If you have both Samsung phones you can also just use Smart Switch. Its an App that should be already on Samsung phones.

I have an iPhone 5 with a front broken screen and thumb button broken also , wondering how I could retrieve text messages off of it ? Do you know if text messages would be on the Sim card? Or would it be a possibility to retrieve all contents like text messages if I were to get the phone screen and thumb button fixed? I suggest you buy a dongle USB-C that have HDMI and USB-A on it. Connect it to PC/TV monitor and a mouse to it. In that way you can use your TV/Monitor as screen and transfer it to new Samsung phone.

My iphone 6 has now Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or the ability to download an app much access the cloud. Replacement iPhone 6S works great my son sent. Turns on, I have the password as he reset the phone, I just have to connect it to my router to get the electronic handshake. So to ReCap! One has no Wi-Fi, the other does. At this point I have no way to get the app onto the broken phone. I could download the working app on a good phone to a device like Sandisk "iXpand" then install onto the broken phone, yet never heard of that done. Being retired limits your income, especially when disabled and can not work, so if you have any advice, I would appreciate it.

I love the information provided. I had a Samsung Galaxy A51 phone that was dropped on a concrete floor at the hospital by another person. Unfortunately I lost all my information when the screen broke. I got a black screen immediately. I have tried the USBC to HDMI with no luck. I saw your video and it is so helpful unfortunately I dont know how to do this myself. I have reached out to numerous repair shops in my area to no avail. Do you have any suggestions?

Your information should still be stored in the phone. The reason why you can't transfer your stuff to another phone is you most likely have a password on your phone. You need the screen to be working in order to put in your passcode to unlock the phone first before you can transfer data. If no other shop wants to do that for you. You can simply just get the phone screen repaired at a shop. Then just use Smartswitch to transfer your data. It's pretty easy with Smartswitch. Or just get it repaired and go back to using your phone like normal.

Market is not saturated. You just have to market better then everyone else. No one really markets in phone repair except the bigger chains. So it shouldn't be hard to put your foot in the door. Just actually market. Have a website is #1. Not a crappy website like most people do. Have a website that ranks organically.

I have a galaxy S7 and the screen went black so I took it in and they said it's the black screen of death. When you touch the screen you can feel the phone vibrate but you can't see anything on the screen. They want 199 for a new screen.

what if the phone has a cracked inside, and it really can light it up but not the screen only the red for charging LED and then the back and recent button only light up, and then, it can still vibrate? and I'm just currently using my laptop, and also, when I connect the phone to the wifi, and hours later if i turned off the wifi settings, it always forgets the pswrd of the wifi its very hassle to always reenter pswrd, again and again and actually the can still function my fingerprint, by the way, my phone is SAMSUNG S5, and i really have a serious issue

Most shops I take my phone or tablet in tell me I need a new LCD and then it will work again. Is it really just a new screen I need to make it work again ? Both my tablet and phone have black screens they still vibrate and notification lights up on my Samsung. But is is really only the screen I need?
